My Money: Gotta Do Something Different

Two thousand sixteen has been a year of great things and some not great things. But one of my goals (I don’t do resolutions) was to get my credit back up to par. Well one of my shortcomings, I call it a gift and a curse, is my want to help people. The one downfallimages-51 of helping people is that sometimes you end up in the hole because of it. So this year I have found myself in a few deep holes which has not allowed me to do what I set out to do at the beginning of the year. So here we go again.

I have a friend who is all about writing down what is going on with your money so you can visually see where your money is going. With all the technology we have (I have at least 3 apps on my phone for tracking where my money goes, lol!!) you would think that I would at least have an inkling of where my money was evaporating to..right? Well I have an idea but I need to do something different to get a different outcome (I am working on not being insane with my money, lol!). So of course my friend has a solution.monthataglance.png

She sends me this pdf. for a Budget Binder .. Yup, a whole bunch of paper. But hey what do I have to lose. So I thought I would share with you guys the Budget Binder. It may help you and it may not. But hey I am going to try something new and see if I can get a great outcome. I have a tendency to start things and not finish them but I working on that and have done very well (lol, I finished a few things..lol!!) So I am going to start making my binder this month and I’m looking forward to the new year so I can get my credit score out of the toilet!

robbing_peter_irs_to_pay_paul_iceI hope you all can use this and get your finances back on track too. Let’s not be those people who pray for a great tax refund and struggle the rest of the year. I am working on ending my relationship with (robbing) Peter and  (to pay) Paul. And even figure out how to save a couple of dollars.  So lets get our money right folks!!

Let me know if you have any other great money saving and budget making ideas. I look forward to hearing what works for you!
